Check Out This Library Wedding

I had a great experience as the wedding officiant for Nicholas and Sabhiya in May of 2016 at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook.  The wedding took place in the Library of the large mansion/estate and was a beautiful setting for the wedding.  Nicholas was a nervous groom who worked it off by pacing one of the estate hallways.  It was a real treat to meet all the members of both family and to hear their stories about both the bride and the groom.  The wedding went very well and was topped off by a wonderful blessing by the grandfather and aunt of Sabhiya.

Grand Central Wedding

I officiated for the wedding Kristen and Scott in May of 2016 at the Grand Ballroom in Joliet.  The venue is the old downtown train station and is right along the railroad tracks.  The Ballroom is like a smaller version of Grand Central Station and is a beautiful room for weddings and receptions.  The station is locked at all times and only used for weddings.  A guard at the door checked everyone in.  Kristen and Scott were married on the outside upper balcony and the weather could not have been better.

Off to the Races

It was a real treat to be the wedding officiant for Eric and Candice at the Arlington International Race Track in May, 2016.  The weather was perfect – there was a storm coming from the west but it did not arrive until well after the early evening wedding.  The wedding was held outside on a beautiful stone patio/terrace overlooking the paddock where the horses are brought in for the races.  The reception was held in a suite above the racetrack and began about the time that races started for the day.

Long Distance Love

I was the wedding officiant for Christina and Kevin in May, 2016 at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn.  The venue is a beautiful location overlooking a lake and with many spacious banquet rooms.  Kevin and Christina are a great couple to work with, they both have a good sense of humor.  They have a great story and have maintained a long distant relationship for a couple of years now and are happy to be married.

Grand Canyon State

Debbie and I are enjoying a couple weeks off in sunny Arizona. We’ve been relaxing with friends, family, and a lot of bike riding. Last weekend we were also able to host a marriage fitness seminar. It was a great opportunity for us to mix work with pleasure. We really enjoyed meeting and working with couples wanting to strengthen their marriages. Big thank you to New Hope Community Center for hosting the event! We look forward to coming back next year. We’ll be back in Chicagoland in about a week. Can’t wait to get back to meeting couples and officiating some weddings!

You’ll Learn:

Why your wife doesn’t think you listen to her and what to do about it.

Steps on listening so she feels truly heard and loved.

How to show him the respect he needs as a man and how to avoid unintentionally telling him you don’t respect him.

It’s all part of a fun, interactive experience to help you implement what you learn.

Your presenters are Doctors David and Debbie McFadden who have been counseling couples and leading seminars for over thirty years. You’ll love their great tag-team approach in presenting the perspectives of both genders as they teach and the open way they share what they’ve learned from their own relationship.
